Kmart offers budget-friendly products with occasional standout finds, particularly in beauty and accessories, but is severely hampered by disastrous online ordering and fulfillment. In-store shopping for specific items may yield value, but ordering online carries substantial risk of non-delivery, long waits, and unresponsive customer service. The retailer's aggregate rating of 1.6 across major review platforms reflects systemic operational failures rather than product quality alone.
Verdict: It depends.

“If I could give no stars I would. Do not bother ordering anything online from Kmart as you will probably never get it. They use Couriers Please who absolutely do not follow delivery instructions and they blame Kmart for the error. Kmart then blame the couriers but never follow up and take weeks to contact you or refund your money. Their online delivery service is unreliable and contacting customer service is hours on hold whether you call on the phone or use their AI chat assistant, then you are directed to email and this also takes weeks for them to respond. Kmart do not care about customers and lack any accountability or honesty in their dealings with customers. Please, please don’t waste your time.”
